The Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) has announced a change to the Magnet Academy lottery date. Originally scheduled for February 16, the lottery will now take place on February 26 at 9:00 AM.
Following the lottery, LPSS will reopen applications for remaining available seats on March 10 at 10:00 AM. Placement for these seats will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis until each Magnet Academy reaches capacity.
LPSS Magnet Academies provide specialized programs designed to enhance student learning and offer unique educational opportunities. Parents and guardians are encouraged to explore these programs and submit applications for available seats.
