For the past three years, we’ve been celebrating our Most Loved Early Childcare Center Contest, giving locals the chance to vote for their favorite daycares, preschools, and early childhood learning centers. It’s our way of showing appreciation for the hard work these centers do to support and nurture our children.
Show your love for your child's early childcare center by casting a vote. The center with the most votes will receive a fully catered lunch from Tropical Smoothie Café and a beautiful plaque from Bayouland Trophies to proudly display their "Most Loved" status for years to come.
How to vote: Simply click here to cast your vote for the most loved early childcare center. Be sure to share this article and the voting link with friends, family, fellow parents, PTO members—anyone and everyone who can help support their favorite center! We’ll keep you posted on the leaders throughout the contest.
Voting will be open until March 1st. We’ll announce the winning center soon after and arrange the catered lunch celebration with them. Thanks for participating, and don’t forget to share with your community!
Contest Rules:
- You may vote once per email address during the contest period (ending March 1, 2025).
- A valid email address is required. Any ballots with multiple votes for different centers or fake email addresses will be deleted.
- You must be a Macaroni Kid Lafayette subscriber to vote. If you’re not already a subscriber, no worries! You’ll be added to our list, and you’ll get our amazing newsletter packed with local kid- and family-friendly events.
- If your childcare center is missing from the list, just use the “other” field to write it in. Note: Only childcare centers located in Lafayette Parish will be eligible.

This contest kicks off on January 30, 2025, and runs through March 1, 2025. It’s our third annual contest, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the month of February, when love is in the air!
